There's nothing better than getting things in the post!
I woke up this morning to find a box of exciting things from the lovely and top horror hostess sadie
who runs this group. The TAA
Items in the box included this beautiful lizard.
and little seahorse and a dried octopus(who likes to make his presence felt with a rather unique aroma) and also a Mistkatonic University hoodie (which for those of you who don't know, is the Medical University in the top fluid spilling, doctor decapitating, cat re-animating 80's film er "Re-Animator")
I'll add pics of these as soon as my digicamera batteries recharge!
Speaking of camera's, I recently lost a very old friend. My Canon Ae-1 SLR camera who served me well since I was 15 broke last week, the shutter is completely frozen and I don't know if it can be fixed at a reasonable cost.
What's frustrating is that I just aquired a macro lens for it and was about to start using it when it broke. Bah. Hopefully I can get a new cheap body for it at least as otherwise I've got 3 useless lenses sitting there.Since everyone is going digital it might be easier to get a second hand SLR!
I've been a busy boy with the music side of things recently. On monday, I had three net releases come out all at the same time! Weird timing or what. I feel really bad because it probably seems like overload and I think it's too much music for folk to take in. I've decided the best way is just to say they are there and leave them and if anyone want's to check them they will I guess.
So here you go, the first is an EP called "A Simple Equinox" which came out on an excellent label called Metanoia and can be found

The second is an EP I did for a project in which the rule was to make in EP in 7 days. My ep for it is called "Halocline reactant drop" and is here
Last is the dark ambient Ep I was talking about before which is called "Miss Fusion". This is probably the most intense and scary of the 3 and is meant to be for xmas listening when everything is blue and snowy.

I've also found out I'm being included on a new release called "Rare New and Electronic Vol 1" on a label called Petrol music. I think it comes out next week. It's all a bit mad just now.
Anyway, I think that's all for now but I'm sure I've still got stuff to add to this! It might come to me later.
Oh yes, I remember now, how could I forget! They found a frozen lake on Mars!!!
I am at once very excited and quite scared by this. You remember a while back I was talking the dreams I was having about sealife on other planets and if it could exist? I almost feel like this discovery was now waiting to be made and maybe I semi-predicted it in my dreams.(Em, ok, maybe not at all eheh)
They don't know yet what it is composed of, if it's a nitrogen lake or something then the chances of life will be slim I suppose but I'm hoping there is and if there is, then, it is a little scary! What's in there? This lake is HUGE apparently. Here's a pic of it. It actually looks fake almost but it's a real photo!

New music up is good music up I say...Specially when I know that when you hit the jacpot with any of your unique talents, musically speaking now tho, of course, and I will be able to say :

Well...I guess I am off to go download all this new music...(You know, I rarely listen to Electronic Music, But I seem to groove to you and Goblin alright...I guess that whole 'Industrial' thing ruined it for me...)
