Playing a new Gamecube game today,Beyond good and Evil.It's quite brilliant with great voice acting and a really clever mesh of gaming styles,think a mature Zelda crossed with metal gear's stealth and Monkey islands humour with a girl with green lipstick as the main character who has a large witty pig as an uncle.Genious.In other news,I'm going to the dentist tommorow eeek and I'm planning on converting some of my old experimental films to DV and then to some useable file format.But I can't do that till I get my capture on my vid card working. frown
Btw,I won't be doing that at the same time I'm at the dentist.

I'm not sure how it will play on the GC (better hopefully) but the final boss of the game was !RIDICULOUS! it really annoyed me on PS2 because after mainlining the game for a week and a half I got to the end and then OMG! THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE! the difficulty curve ramped up at a 90 degree angle...

So at least now you're prepared somewhat.

But 99% of the game totally rules, particuarly when you gain the ability to fly!

I guessed you weren't that far in because you hadn't mentioned the square jawed jump or the cool table soccer mini game...

I also enjoyed the photography subgame. Although some o' them critters are mighty tricky.
