None of the "insert" functions for updating the journal are working.smile -Switches to manual override.

Well, I can't have it both ways so I'm not going to complain.

Hello little journal thing, hello everyone, sorry I've not been about much recently, a big dinosaur in the form of a corporate company ate me up and I've been living inside its stomach for about a month now. I managed to escape for a day by making it sneeze, ejecting me in the process and I'm here, alive to update and try and do some visits, looking around nervously before I hear the sound of that dinosaur coming looking for me again.

In the absence of any life changing advice or exciting stories to tell you, I'll attempt to distract you with some pretty fireworks that I photographed on November the 5th, overlooking Glasgow and make my escape before you realise I haven't been of any help.

I was cruelly tricked by a plastic owl the other day!

Travelling to work on the bus at 8 in the morning is not exciting and therefore, I try to take my mind of it by staring out of the window, hoping to see at least a Pteranodon or some other thing in the sky that is not meant to be there. Imagine my suprise then, when out of the corner of my eye, I saw a large shape sitting on top of a house roof. It was a fucking Eagle Owl! In Scotland. They are most definitely not meant to be here. I nearly twisted my neck off trying to get a better look at it as the bus zoomed passed and my Owl sitting on the roof got further away into the distance. Anyway, from its shape and colour and big pointy ears, it was 100% an Eagle Owl I told myself. In fact, there was even a program on TV about how they had suddenly started to re-appear in Britain in undisclosed locations in England (they wouldn't say where to protect them) so I thought that the chances it was an Eagle Owl were very high. So, anyway, I was pretty excited to see this rare and beautiful bird. Until the next day that is. I was looking out the same bus window and went past the same house and what is still sitting on the roof? The same Eagle Owl! It was the right bird for sure, just one that was PLASTIC. I'm such an idiot. frown I then found out that they use decoy birds of prey on the roofs of buildings to scare away seagulls and pigeon's to stop them making a mess of the buildings. Who ever makes these decoys, they are very realistic!

BOY FOOLED BY HIGH DENSITY POLYETHELYNE OWL. WORLD LAUGHS.IN OTHER NEWS....

Some of the music I've been listening to recently to stop me going insane includes.

I never get tired of this album. Probably the best death metal Lp ever made IMO.

Halloween 2 OST

If anything else exciting comes to mind, I'll add it here. But for now, I'm off to see how you guys are doing. Transmission ends.
