Okay sorry this is a little late but here is my Alaska trip update.
Wednesday my flight left Pittsburgh at 5:35pm and we got to Phoenix, AZ at 7:04pm after about a 5.5 hour plane ride. Nothing exciting happened on the plane. I think there were 2 young ones but the youngest (16months) was really good the whole trip (her mom said she had flown 4-5 times before that one). Got to sort of book it to my connecting flight which left at 7:50pm. This flight was empty....I had no one sitting next to me and so I slept for a lil (only about an hour) on the 5 hour flight to Anchorage, AK.
Got to Alaska early at 12:15am. Met arctcknight at the baggage claim, got my bag and we headed out to Wasilla, AK to stay the night at Mummifier's place instead of making the "death run" (6hour) drive to Fairbanks. Thanks again, Mummifier for your hospitality!
Thursday around noon we set out to make the trip to Fairbanks. We stopped a couple times for potty breaks and pictures. I took a few during the drive so we didn't have to stop too many times.

We got to Fairbanks around 6:30pm and settled in for an hour or so before heading to the bar for some food (since neither of us had a "real" meal). Didn't do too much Thursday night...just hung out then went to sleep.
Friday we hung around for most of the day. Went and got the dog, had some greasy trucker stop food for a late brunch, and watched some tv. Later we went back to the bar and had a few drinks before grabbing a couple movies and some popcorn with Catronos heading home and watched "I Love You, Man." Which was funny. Then went to bed relatively early since the plan was to get up early (well early for me) Saturday and go 4-wheeling/off roading. (TO BE CONTINUED)
Okay I'm gonna stop here for right now. 1) because I have to piddle, and 2) there are a bunch more pictures from off-roading. I'll probably add the next blog in a few hours.
