well, today was a better day.
after work, shawn and i met up on our bikes and hopped a train into the city. we road all over the city, got food at giannas and salsolitos, and ran into 2 friends we hadn't seen for a while. one of which was our old bassist. it was a little akward cause of the way he left things with us, but i dont hold grudges, and everythings cool. he wants our band to play with his band and a bunch of others at the end of the summer, if he can get it all hooked up.
and the other guy was someone we see at shows all the time, whos put us on a show or two in the past. he fuckin told us he wants us to play with Skitsystem! they're an awesome crust band from Sweden. we're fuckin thrilled about that one. he said its sometime in september.
i also bought a hot pair of shoes at buffalo exchange, i'll put a picture up of them tomorrow. shawn and bob think they're tacky, i think they're adorable!
anyway, we decided not to take the train home, and just road our bikes the whole way, which we've done before, but its a very long trek, and i was extra tired from working earlier. we had a few bike problems, shawns bike locked up and he kinda flipped over the bike. at first i was worried, cause he didn't get up right away, when he told me he was fine, i couldn't stop laughing. i kept pictureing it over and over, it was hilarious. than later on, we kinda crashed into each other, and my tired got all bent up, and we were still 15 minutes away from home. we did get home fine, and shawn messed with my bike a little, and its ok for now, but i think i might need a whole new tire
so, anyhoo, the sun was shinin', the breeze was blowin',so i guess you can say, i had a pretty good day. i hope you all did too
