Wow! My las post was in April!!!
Well, as you can imagine, I've been busy.
Lots of travel, lots of burlesque shows and festivals! Good times.
My mama has been in town visiting and she went to her first burlesque show which I just happened to be performing in, which just happened to be her first time seeing me perform! It was a brand new act (which I'm doing again Tuesday) and she was so proud! I could see many of her reactions from the stage and it made me so happy
I had been hustling to get this costume done and ready for that show and I worked every night for 2 weeks to get it done! I even brought pieces to work to try and finish!
I'm still definitely gonna add more rhinestones before Tuesday!!!
So, my next shows, I'm very excited for! First will be a fundraiser for a burlesque festival, 2 weeks later I'll be performing at the San Antonio Burlesque Festival, and that same weekend (the very next day) I'll be performing at the Burlympics in LA! Then on that Sunday, I'm in the Tassels competition and the Burlyoke contest!!! Such an incredibly exciting burlesque filled weekend!
Then, in October, I'll be in Las Vegas for the Las Vegas Burlesque Festival! I'm really so thrilled and honored to be among such fabulous performers and I'm so thankful that I get to travel and experience burlesque all over!
I recently applied (with 15 minutes left to spare) to the Great Southern Exposure Burlesque Pageant! It's in North Carolina and it would be my first time there! It's also my first time applying to that one
It's always difficult deciding which act to apply with
I LOVE most of my acts and I've worked really hard on all of them! I only have a few days left to apply to Hollywood! It's the first year for this one and it is not to be missed!
