Oh, Amsterdam was GLORIOUS. I ate a lot of things with the word space in them, so my mission was completed. Spent SO much money though, and I just found out Im going to Prague in two weeks. But I think my parents will bite the bullet and pay for my ticket.
Shit, my friends and I rolled up to this this coffeeshop called "the dolphin". In the basmenet there was this huge mural with this Lisa Frank-esque aquatic scene; dolphins adn bubbles. And inside each of hte bubbles was another famous city. So I find the one for New York....and it depicts the city covered by a mushroom cloud.
Fcked up. I think I will remember that place always, my first experience face-to-face with anti-American sentiment. I mean, I know people don't like our country, but I have never been so shocked and upset by something that blatently hateful. I dunno,
Anyway....I actually spent a lot of vacation time outside Amsterdam in the Netherlands, camping out and riding bikes into Germany. The pastoral scene really suited me, and I am so glad I went. I am totally chilled out right now, Woooooord
