I'm sitting here before my computer, the blinds open to let in some winter sun, a little tub of butter cream icing in front of me, half heartedly working on the intro to my Soviet history paper (A Sense of Responsibility: The Dilemma of Women's Familial Responsibility in the Soviet Union), and browsing threads on the Silliness boards - that board is productivity kryptonite. I need to get this paper finished today, and I'll keep hacking at it, but I am so ready to just be done with it. I NEED this break.

On the bright side, it's exactly one week today until Christmas Eve! I'm terribly excited. We're getting our tree this evening, and I'm very much looking forward to wasting a little more time decorating it I should also be done all the shopping tomorrow, which is also the day my cousin/best friend will be meeting burn_bomb for the first time. Quite the event, I'm sure.
