OLP played the local hockey rink last night. I've hardly listened to their latest album, but it was a good show. Feet sore, slightly hungover, and very tired since the wife had to drop me off at 7:00 AM. It was our 3rd wedding anniversary last night, and since the wife has a huge thing for Rayne Maida so it was a good way to spend the night.
OLP was ok, deep love for some of their old stuff, not so sure about some of the new. Gravity was a really hot disc and their follow up....was not. I've been told it grows on you but it hasn't grown on me yet.
Stabilo was REALLY great though, and Pedestrian was something worth following up on.
But, really though, due to our recent finanical crunch it was kind of a lame anniversary. Leftover chinese and a bottle of cheap wine for dinner, and a concert where we barely touched each other since I had to stand at the back to push the crowd off our group. Meh.
Lots of pot smoking in the crowd at the concert. I really love Canada when I see that.
