But me and the status quo? We are like >< that. I don't typically care what the status quo is, either. Needless change irritates me. "Keeping it fresh" is slang for "I hate it when people are comfortable with something".
So...Half-Life 2. I figured my new computer (20" iMac) needed a new game so I bought this of that fancy razmatazz "Steam" service. Its very nice, but the script seems to have been written by retards. Aside from the trully awful games I've played for fun this is easily the worst script I've ever seen in a FPS.
I ain't saying the game is crap - its all sorts of fun blowing shit up and shooting crazy zombie things in the face with a shotgun - but the script is a complete waste of all the potential the franchise had.

I'm sure she'll be tolerable. I didn't want to punch through my monitor when I saw her in the trailers on the movie's website, so . . .
Also, Kevin Kline is pretty awesome too.
