Amped up on gourmet coffee... can't stop rubbing my eyes for the fractal effects.

I was recently given ownership of the "Drummers" group, this is adequate reparation for having my "Pinball Wizards" group deleted. All this scratching is making me rich!

i actually remember a bit of my dream last night. it involved trying, in vain, to hook up a bunch of exotic effects pedals the likes i had never seen before. time was critical because it was right before a show or a recording session. maybe this means i should be playing again?

I'd like to see the Lincoln patch. This is actually the insignia of Charles Nungesser, the famous French ace fighter pilot from WWII. I found it in a vending machine at a nickel arcade on the wharf in San Francisco (along with a couple others I'll scan and show you) a couple of years ago, and have not yet decided where to put it.

As far as Jiminez, I went to a lecture of his a few years ago, and did not know he had died until I Wikipedia-ed him for the link to give you. My favorite of his-- and I don't know where it's kept-- is Man on Fire. The university in Alberquerque has some, as well as the mall in dowtown San Diego, and I believe you're correct in thinking that ASU has some of his work as well. Cool guy.

I had a blissfull weekend, punctuated with about four hours of sleep.

I climbed my favorite hill, set up a lawn chair, and jammed on the bongos.

I found a mole in the grass and felt compelled to pick it up and hold it against my face; moles are underappreciated creatures in terms of cuteness. It seems odd. But it was sensuous.

Racism is about those who believe in the idividuality and actual existence of races. Admit you belong, and youre a racist. I want to believe that I belong to the human race, not the white race, or anything similar... That was a personal opinion. As for religions and "avowed born-again christians" as long as youre a good person you don't need to belong to any religion. If theres a god in the end he'll take you in his private chambers whatever those called (heaven?) no matter what.
