So, I'm at my home away from home - Fort Lauderdale. If you've ever been here for any reason other than Spring Break - you'd find it incredibly boring. The traffic sucks and it's impossible to find decent Mexican food. I've never been able to figure out which bus takes me straight to the beach, so I wind up walking. It takes me about two hours to walk five miles and the local flavor is slightly reminiscent of "Escape from New York". The weather is lovely though, and the beach is stunning, more-so because it's practically deserted. The water is warm, and the girls are surprisingly friendly. I'm really not used to white women being so nice to me. It's a little strange. Perhaps they think I'm Cuban.
