Well now, it looks like I won't have to go under the knife for that hernia after all.

As it turns out, I don't have a hernia. I've been informed that I have a "renal calculi", otherwise known as a kidney stone.

In addition to that, I also have a "fatty liver". What the hell is that, you ask? It's a disease that occurs in those with excessive alcohol intake and those who are obese (paradoxically it also occurs in those who endure malnutrition). In a worst case scenario I could drop dead from Cirrhosis thirty years from now. Good times!

Am I an alcoholic? I don't think so. Not anymore. Maybe when I was a kid, then... getting fucked up lost some of its' luster, thanks in part to the onset of adulthood. O Genie in the bottle, thy name is Belligerence.

Am I obese? I'm not gonna lie. I've let myself go. I haven't had a legitimate job since 2003, you can draw whatever conclusions you like from that. I guess my problem is that every day is pretty much Saturday.

I have a sort of Certainty. And I have the luxury of feeling "it's not enough". A fine life, it is.

And Florida can wait a little longer.
