Ok...so...I didn't get the job I really wanted.
I think the only reason I got an email follow up was because I asked them what the status was.

I'm bummed. I'm sad. I'm frustrated. I did find out after the fact that this company is nearly impossible to get into unless you know someone. So I guess the fact that I got to the second interview without an "in" is an amazing feat in itself.
Unfortunately being awesome doesn't pay the bills.

I don't know. I'm just frustrated. I'm frustrated because I live in a backwards fucking city. I'm mad that for me to make what I should be making for my experience I have to travel an hour to the suburbs. I'm pissed I have to pay a wage tax. I'm disheartened that everytime I go on an interview there's 100 other people fighting for the same position, because the job market sucks ass here.

If I had money I'd leave this hell hole tomorrow, because all it has given me is headaches.

I don't know. I'm in a horrible mood, I have a killer headache, and I'm sick of air conditioners.


I don't even know why I'm still awake.
