You know how everyone has a favorite designer...whether its shoes or blouses its normally someone.
Well mine is Queenbee Creations. She designs bags. And good lordy are they nice bags. Vegetarian friendly since they are made with the most amazing fake leather I've ever seen! Put together beautifully. The designs on each bag are simplistic and graceful. I have literaly made friends with girls on the street because they were carrying one of her bags.
New styles are out! Which makes me very sad and very happy all at the same time. She normally keeps them up for ages, so I have time to scrape together my pennies for a new one. And, she has a line of diaper bags available now and they even have some of the new images. I'm not going to go down that road anytime soon, but I do want the small case from the baby collection since it comes in a cool honeycomb motif and its bigger then the case I have. It would be perfect for toting around small knitting projects. (I buy ALL of my bags with knitting in mind)
I don't normally get all shopping crazy like most girls, but I do have my weaknesses: Queenbee Bags, toiletries, make-up and yarn. The little group of things that make me squeal with delight when I see them.
When I get a better job, and things don't absolutely suck anymore....that will be my reward.
Ha...like that would actually happen.
Maybe I should just move away and start fresh somewhere else. Philly has done nothing but make my financial life hell.

Update: So..they're only willing to increase $0.25 per hour. Which sucks ass. So, I'm in full on looking for alternative work mode! I told them I'm going to be leaving eventually, I may stay part-time, but i don't know. Everything is kind of sad and frustrating. I'm hurt and annoyed, but i just need to move on.
So lots of my yarn on hold will be coming home with me while I still have my discount.
....and I'm not moving. I mean, i'm sadly broke so I can't go even if I wanted to. I think I just like the idea of running away right now. Maybe a vacation is in order.

But Ice-T, he was always my favorite.
I never really had anyone to look up to growing up, so most of my life lessons came from listening to Ice-T rap tapes. You know the dangers of drugs, never drive drunk, respect those who respect you, never join a street gang, the importance of a healthy lifestyle, and how to dismember racist family members and dispose of their bodies.
Did some research and found out that the show exists for an Ice-T reality series. They're doing the School of Rock show again on VH1 only its the School of Rap, Ice-T replaces Gene Simmons, and the little kids play a show with Ice-T and Public Enemy instead of Motorhead.
I have too much time on my hands today that I'm looking stupid stuff like this up on the internet.
Anywho, I'd watch out for Queenbee Creations if I were you. It may turn out to be your downfall from animal rights.
If the fake leather is so convincingly real, you'll start getting soft and not let little pieces of leather on clothes slide here and there. Before you know it you'll be wearing a leather jacket!
