Hello ladies and germs!
I am back..for the attack. After getting laid off at the stupid fuckingist job ever...a ray of sunshine. I now have a part time job at the yarn store I frequent (which means yarns discounted...Fuck yeah!!) I have already applied for unemployment and I've sent out about 6 resumes...all in the last 24 hours. look at me, little miss productive!!!
My mom brought up a good point, if I didn't get laid off I would have never left. And I think that's true. I was so battered down I didn't even want to look, because I thought I was useless. But I'm not. I'm fucking awesome! I'm a hard worker who loves talking to people. This will be a really awesome thing that has happened, I can feel it.
This is the most positive I've been all year..I feel great! I woke up early, filed papers, updated my journal, walked to the yarn store, talked to the shop owner, knit, and all of it done before 1pm!
And and and....my store has been the helping push to get employers to meet with employees...lots of people who have worked there have made connections for jobs. So, i'm optimisitc I'll chit chat with the right person!
