I had an ansolute BLAST with my MI SG girl-gang last night. I've been pretty fortunate to see the SG Blackheart Burlesque perform many times over the years. I've seen the show a few times in Austin, once in Denver, and a couple times in Detroit now.. But this was by far, my absolute favorite show ever! The performances were amazing, I was completely captivated the entire time. I thought I might have a heart attack/stop breathing experiencing @cleodora routine for the very first time. I think it may have been the sexiest thing I've ever seen in my life. I was also suuuper stoked when I walked in to see that @circa was there! I've followed and loved that girl for yeears now so it was pretty surreal to finally actually meet in person! I could go on and on..
HOWEVER, on top of all that.. The amazing, quickly growing SG community we have here in Michigan of BAD ASS WOMEN that are getting closer by the second, developing such a special bond right in front of my eyes, and so rapidly becoming incredibly important people in my life... To see how large our group was, how much love and support there was among us, to watch everyone look out for and take care of one another, make sure everyone got home safely, followed by checking-in on everyone the next morning to share laughs/stories/photos. THAT is what made this hands down- my favorite show yet. My heart is so full.
I am so incredibly thankful to have these women in my life, and thankful to SG for providing the platform to make it happen. I'm looking forward to so many more adventures, and more beautiful moments with these magical women.
