today was uneventful. i hid inside from the smoke and sky that the newspaper deemed unfit for breathing. my daughter turned 9 months old . 
i am trying out the diaper free method and ended up cleaning a lot of poop up off the floor. its cool its what moms do. there was one exciting moment as i prepared lunch (which was supposed to be purple potato stir fry with beets and kale but alas i exed the potatoes) i discovered that my potatoes had come alive. . the smoke is still lingering even though it is night. i need to escape this town. . .
