yesterday there was a big ol' protest here in philly because of the Bio-tech convention
lots of stupid shit went down
there were people dressed up in silly costumes and wearing bandanas everywhere
they marched on the convention center and shut down parts of the city.
i get their message and for the most part agree with them, i just dont understand some of their tactics.
i know getting any press is good for their cause but they will never be taken seriously wearing a tomato costume
all that bio-enginerring of plants and tinkering with the genetic code seems a bit scary to me anyway

i got to see alot of this because i work only a block away from where most of this craziness was going down
the cops were out in full force, one of them actually died in a struggle with the protesters. he had a heart attack while trying to help other officers.
the whole situation was bad.

oh and on top of all that, a shitload of skaters invade the city to show their support for Love Park. they all rode past my building, running into cars and hiting each other, it was funny.
....damn kids....

all this talk of protests and evil companies makes me wanna start doing kung fu kicks at someone

after watching this documentary its hard not to be a little bit bitter and cynical about the world

i also got a new pc game today, Battlefield 2
i will play that tonight till my hand cramps up into a nice deformed shape. im a hardcore player, bitch
