anyway, i just found out one of my favorite bands from Sweden, The Hellacopters,
are playing here in March.
the show's at the Kyhber, along with Nebula, Rye Coalition, and Bad Wizard.
this is going to be a pretty awesome show.
even if the Kyhber is a suck ass venue for bands. it's way too cramped in my opinion.
but what you gonna do.
The Hellacopters havent had a show here in like four years, so its worth the extra hassle.
also, who even knew this existed:
The International Federation of Competitive Eating
how this "sport" got corporate sponorship is beyond me.

Also didn't see High On Fire either -- the NY show sold out in like a second and the place they were playing is pretty rotten about holding their ground about not letting any more people in.
