I went out dancing last night. Its been WAY too long, and my feet and legs are sore and aching. It was totally worth it though, I had a BLAST. I realized that I really miss dancing, and that i really need to get back in to it. That is my new resolution, and hopefully i can stick to it.
Today, I started moving stuff back in to my now dry, but still water damaged room.
My building's owner rocks, but my property management company sucks ass. I tried for 3 days to get them to get my owner out to see the damage. Finally, he got out here, looked around and said "why the hell didnt they call me sooner? someone's ass is getting chewed out."
He's springing for new carpet in my room and the entire downstairs. RAWK.
Tonight, to celebrate i made my favorite curry.
Started with a chili oil base and sauteed garlic. Then, I mixed 2 types of hommade curry base, green and red in with a bit of coconut milk, and put chopped red bell peppers and carrots in. It was so pretty and red i didnt want to add anything else, but after they were cooked a bit, I added napa cabbage, cucumber and broccoli.
It made my lips tingle, yum!
I also made some fresh miso soup from my miso paste (i freakin love this stuff, let me tell you) and put some udon noodles in it. Oooh man was it good.
Now, I'm going to hop in the shower and get ready to go celebrate the evening.
