What a week! I think my family is accepting my vegetarianism... they didnt try to stuff turkey down my throat this year, for the first time! Thats a breakthrough. The week was generally good for me. I got out of town, met people, had a visitor in town for the weekend, generally good stuff.
Its been a while since i've been able to say that. Maybe i need to get out of chico more often. Hmmmm...

I was pretty lucky when I stopped eating meat. My family was never that big on it, so they didn't hassle me about it at all. My only problem is when I meet people who assume that I'm going to harass them about it. They can't understand that you can be vegetarian without being militant about it. It drives me nuts.
