my mind is deteriorating. i can feel it. its in the air. well a bit of car news. my jeep is in my posession again. and my uncle bought a new car. in the midst of mid life crisis he got the new Mazda RX-8. Go Rotary!!! Not! i have more reason to hate it now. in the beginnings of my anti mazda days, i had the chance to test out a twin turbo RX-7. bein the young hot head that i am, i took it, drove it about, and realized hmm. this is not that exciting. and it consumed motor oil like nobodys business. hoping mazda realized its foibles, they came out with the RX-8. no, they did not realize their shortcomings. alas, after owning the car for 2 months, it has consumed 3 quarts of oil. how many new cars out there consume that much oil in that little bit of time. thats crap. hence my hatred for mazda. 
now onto other things. irene continues to make me melt. goin to see her later for lunch. and then tonight i think i am hangin out with franandzooey at roscoes chicken and waffles. should be good times.

Oh hell yeah! You know, I have a head and upper and lower intakes ported to race spec and polished (not just a little, but all the way up as far as could be reached) for my motor. I need to get valves for it (tenth over) and cams (Stillen has some sweet cams that would let me keep my stock retainers, not that I'm worried about that. I can't wait to get that on the car. It's not going to be as fast as a lot of cars I've seen out there, but I'm going for torque, anyway so I can kick some ass on exit speeds out of corners. And that Viscous LSD out of that old 300ZX really puts the power down!
