Well we have returned from the great adventure to the midwest. And it was a shitload of fun. I really wish we would have been able to stay longer, but I guess it makes it that much better when we get to back again.
The family absolutley loved the girlfriend, and loved having her around. It was great being able to introduce her to those she hadnt met yet, and my friends whom still live back home.
We were able to see the huge Rembrandt exhibition at the Milwaukee Art Musuem, which celebrates the 400th anniversary of the artist. The sketches and paintings from Rembrandt and the other Dutch artists that were featured were amazing. I was able to pick up a hardcover book that features all the sketches and pencil work in the exhibit and its amazing.
Other then that its time to get back to sketching, seeing that exhibit really got me inspired again, and its time to take advantage of my time off from work.
