So Thursday night I'm trying to nurse sick little Lisa back to health and help her take care of her cold. While trying to cut open the packaging for her medicine, I went ahead and sliced off the pad of my left index finger (making the typing of this a real pain in thefinger.) The doctor told me that worst case scenario is that I'll have to get a skin graph to replace the skin there. Of course, best case is that it will heal in a couple of weeks all on its own. The most depressing thing at the moment is that I don't know how long it will be before I can play guitar. Pretty soon I'll be looking for a prothstetic finger tip like Tommy Iommi.
