Uh-oh.

I've been downloading a bunch of stuff from the Cure. Mostly Disintegration and Staring at the Sea stuff. Two records I haven't listened to since high school.

Uh-oh.

I promise if I feel any poetry coming on, I'll lie down until it goes away.

Disintegration can be harmful to one's mental health

Or really cathartic. When you're able to leave the melodramatic self-analysis in your teens, you can appriciate it for its mood.

I'm that car, that backhoe, that firetruck, that slammin' ghetto-blaster. i slip into your routine, only missed when absent, never appriciated when around.

but when there is evil afoot, i'm a powerful robot from a far away planet. ready to defened the honor of all living things: organic, mechanical or even lame.

i am more than meets the eye.

i got hacked, again.

i have Network Ice from ISS and when I got home it was off.

"hmm.. that's funny," i sez.

so i try and load it up. it loads, and then appears, and then disappears.

"weird."

so i Ctrl-Alt-Delete and theres at least 3 processes running, including mIRC and DirectX.exe, that i don't think are normal. Theres a directory in my C:/...

Got home from spending the week-end with the fam in Toronto. Since public transit sucks in the outer-rim territories of Toronto, it's way more practical to rent a car than to take the train or a bus or something. Sucks, actually.

Nice to see pops every once and a while.

And I should been here at the desk doing homework instead. ... shoulda-coulda-woulda ...

Bummer...

the more I read it the less sense it makes, very nice.

ps. I kinda like tattoos on freckled arms, especially if you can do some creative dot to dot.

i'm almost in the groove at school. i'm now at the point where i will shout my opinion in class completly ignorant of the views of others. right. just like last year.

i haven't been journal-ling like i normally do.

i don't have much to say about myself, so i just wander around other people's journals.

love to meet the peoples at the SG1 partys....

well! thank you very much, I didn't have to try my best on that one, I just threw up whatever was on my mind, and there you have it.

We have to keep a diary for my Cultural Theory class. It's kind of strange, keeping a personal log of your notes from the readings. I'm very used to just reading and writing down what's important. I rarely inject any opinion.

The one benfit I've seen is that the class can gather and talk on-line about the lectures so we can help each other out....

I really ought to keep my high school journal writing in check.

Or, maybe, at least not write when I'm completly blitzed.

Nonetheless, I'm fine. School is harder than I expected, and I'm still trying to get on the ball. It's taking me longer to get into the groove than last year, but I'm not concerned yet. The groove will come, it's there, I just...

i like the spanish word for moustache: bigote. you can talk about funny bigotes without them knowing your talking about it. there was recently the "stash"fest here in pdx. there were contests for who looked the most like burt reynolds and such.
tearsinmygears:
hey man, big props to you for being on the ball with the 6fs info. anyway, mustaches areking, i've always been a fan of the shitty mustache, and a few friends and i used to have "bad mustache" competitions, to see who could have the worst. right now i am sporting the very worst one i've ever had, at first it was to befunny, now it's just to look unattractive. i hope to some day have an F.F. Woodycook mustache. and if noone knows what that is, then you're not watching enough mr. show.

So I went out with her again tonight.

(In Writing class we learned that you're not supposed to start a sentence with a preposition. Is 'so' a preposition?)

Second time in two weeks.

I've been so alone for so long; I meet so few new people, and go out with even less of them.

Even when I'm not that interested, I start rationalizing. Just silly...

At least you are engaged in social interaction. I have almost no contact with other people. If there are people who can stand being around me, I am not aware of it. Of course it is possible that i have simply talked myself into social isolation and that there are people who are interested in me - I wouldn't know.

I think you might be right about friends, though it I don't think one is always conscious of it. I learned to never do anything or say anything. I've ruined too many friendships. Instead I suffer quietly from unrequited love, or at least i used to - I can't even find someone who will hang out with me these days. It is all online now. Some might say that technology interferes with 'true human relationships' but without it I would be completely isolated. But i still should get out once in a while, I guess.

your journal entry reminded m of a line in a Smiths song about it being over before it actually began.
