Met with my academic councillor today. Funny thing, we both started First Year at University the same year. So now she wears cute skirts and looks all professional and I show up to our meeting in my snow covered chucks and the SG hoodie.

I wonder if I've made the wrong choices.

Anyway, it went well, and we decided I'm going to apply for the...

i like the idea of retiring on a wad my parents forfeit to me upon their fiery demise. who am i to argue with the course of nature? but my parents aren't nearly rich enough, and i'm nowhere near that evil.
or am i?

as for your comment in my journal about the canadian pussies... we endure the winter year after year, we just complain about it. the fact that we survive makes us hard-asses.

Hmm..

I've been pretty obsessed with Tony Hawk 4 lately. How lame is that? I used to play tonnes of games when I was a kid. RPGs, Adventure, that kinda stuff. But I don't really have the time to sit and commit 4 or 5 hours at a time. Tony's great because I can play for 10 minutes or 10 hours. Whatever.

Kinda wish I...

Have you ever considered the possibillity that the Shuttle Craft Galileo was the inspiration for the first minivans? The Renault Espace certainly looked like a shuttle craft. Once again technology copies star trek - cell phones, EPR, spooky action at a distance, laser tractor beams, etc. and minivans.
psmith:
Cool, a starfleet liscense plate. Isn't there a city in Ontario called Enterprise? The city that built a full scale shuttle craft for it's town square.

I went out shopping today. Looking for something to buy to cheer myself up.

Nothing.

I couldn't find any happiness in any of the shopping centres or strip malls or big-box electronic retailers.

Just retail-lifers that looked like they'd rather be anywhere but in a mall at 2pm, wondering why I was there.

Money doesn't buy happiness, but spending it is supposed to.

I was...

"My girl likes to party all the time, party all the time, party all the time."

For some reason that goofy song has been in my head almost a week. I have no idea how the rest of it goes. Just the chorus.

It's 5:14am and I've been up all night cleaning. For some reason, I clean better in the middle of the night. What's...

I was thinking how glad I was to not be working retail at 3pm on a Thursday, and how grateful I was to able to be in school instead.

So why did I skip school to go to the mall?

So.

I'm writing my first basic Web Page for Web&Design class last night. I'm working with Simple Text, typing away. I need to get the end of the line, so I tap END. Nothing. It just sits there. WTF?! If Macs are so superior, why does the Mac equivilent to Notepad not interpret the END key?

Other than that, there's a lot to like about...

January.. blah.

I guess that's why they call 'em that.

School is back in session, and I think I might actually enjoy this term. I'll finally have to learn some Mac proficiancy, which I'm sure is good. I'm still completly dumbfounded by the lack of the second mouse button, though. What is the Mac equivilent of the right click? I never noticed how much I...

So, this is me, out. Last journal entry, brahs.
(at least for a few months.)

I'm allowing my time to slip away again.. S'okay.. i know where it's going.

Had to meet with a group from class today about a debate. Fun stuff, mostly-- got all of our ducks in a row.

Even more fun was the ability to talk to people in my program...

I am boucning quickly back and forth between confidence and dispair, sometimes in a ten minute period. I think they have a word for it, but I can't come up with it now; I am tired.

When I think of what I have to do in the next six weeks, i feel a choking panic. When I only concentrate on one thing, I can handle...
