Hmm..

I've been pretty obsessed with Tony Hawk 4 lately. How lame is that? I used to play tonnes of games when I was a kid. RPGs, Adventure, that kinda stuff. But I don't really have the time to sit and commit 4 or 5 hours at a time. Tony's great because I can play for 10 minutes or 10 hours. Whatever.

Kinda wish I could play the new Zelda, though. Looks sweet.

But, really, should I be shelling out $400 for a Game Cube and Zelda when i haven't even started Majora's Mask, yet? I played for about a day, got confused, and put it away. Maybe I should hit it again next time I feel like spending an afternoon with my couch.

What else.. I'm kicking along at school. Things are good, 'cept for the problem with 10am Monday morning. I've not had a good record with that one, yet.

What am I listening to? The new Godspeedyoublackemperor! is pretty artsy-fartsy and self-concious. But that's not always a bad thing. I've been going back to some Husker Du and really early Cure, lately, too. Which is weird, because I wasn't into that when I was younger. The Isis record is hot. And the new El Producto record is almost constant. So I guess I'm listening to a lot of stuff.

I miss being social. I went to see a bunch of bands last weekend and I had a crappy time. I dunno, maybe I'm too old. But really, I'm not very good at Fondue Parties and Discussion, either.

Is there a halfway point? Sitting on a couch with a bottle and a box of records and someome cool, I s'pose.

Have you ever considered the possibillity that the Shuttle Craft Galileo was the inspiration for the first minivans? The Renault Espace certainly looked like a shuttle craft. Once again technology copies star trek - cell phones, EPR, spooky action at a distance, laser tractor beams, etc. and minivans.

Cool, a starfleet liscense plate. Isn't there a city in Ontario called Enterprise? The city that built a full scale shuttle craft for it's town square.
