January.. blah.

I guess that's why they call 'em that.

School is back in session, and I think I might actually enjoy this term. I'll finally have to learn some Mac proficiancy, which I'm sure is good. I'm still completly dumbfounded by the lack of the second mouse button, though. What is the Mac equivilent of the right click? I never noticed how much I used it until I didn't have it. I'm a huge fan of 'Open in New Window.'

It's nice to be back at SG. The site seems to grow exponentially every month. At the same time, the staff is still doing an awesome job of making us all feel at home. The groups are excellent, as is the new forum topics.

Thanks to everyone who wished me well on my birthday, that's cool. It was a totally laid back affair. I was in the middle of writing papers, so I didn't even go out. Not that I really want to celebrate turning twenty-nine when I'm living the life of a twenty-one year old.

Currently listening to - "El-P - Fantastic Damage" and "Isis - SGNL>05"

I'm trying to figure out if Signs was a good movie. Parts of it I liked, a whole lot. But I think the ending went on too long. I appriciate that it was a character drama and not a sci-fi movie, but I think they stopped too often to have the same conversation a couple too many times in the last act.

And the scene between the Mel Gibson character and his son at the end, with the asthma attack, seemed to be shot really.. uhh.. sexually. Maybe it's just me. Maybe I see things that aren't there.. but it really semed like a strange kinda gay/incest/pedophile kinda encounter.

On that creepy note, I have to stack wood.
kopper:
i heard mel gibson was thinking about doing another mad max movie.. hopefully that is the next, and only movie i see him in.
