well, that was neat.
i was vacuuming my car in the driveway yesterday at a little after 4. the extension cord was old and ratty, and the vacuum lurched a couple times.
("funny," i think, "i didn't know vacuums could do that.")
so i go and twiddle with the cord and it roars back to life, and i continue to vacuum. then it stops.
("shit")
the beer store 500 metres away from my house had power at 8pm. i've never seen that beer store so busy in my life.
(in case of emergency, get drunk.)
i got power around 3 this morning. now the only thing turned on is one lamp & a computer.

bellsouth finally fixed my DSL. i had to fight long and hard with them. but they fixed it. yes they did. and now my cable is fucked up.

Glad you got your power back.. I was without for a week (camping). I do not like not nice bugs. I am home, depressed and alone...yet again. Can I come get drunk with you??
