saw The Hulk today. it was flawed, but i enjoyed it. i'd rather see a filmmaker go for broke and fail than see something boring.
i was drawn in by the CGI. i'd heard so many things about it, i guess i wasn't hoping for much. the characters were great, it was a shame you couldn't have hulk action and bruce drama at the same time.
i liked punch-drunk love, too. pt anderson is totally one of those guys who want you to notice his directing. i like that, as long as it's good. and i think adam sandler is pretty talented now. not that i didn't before, but i didn't think he could actually be emotional. good stuff.

q: it's better to love'd and lost, yadda, yadda, yadda. how do y'all feel about that one? i don't deal well with emotions, so i've been particularly picky about what, and who, i get involved in. maybe i'm just being a pussy.

I think that yes, that which does not kill us makes us stronger (I can't spell the philosopher's name.. nieche?) however, I am all about not getting hurt ever again. The last few interests have left me extremely cynical. So I don't think you are being a pussy. Just guarded. And there is nothing wrong with that. What's your major in school anyway?
