You shouldn't feel guilty for shopping, esspecially when those pants look so terribly practical. You can rationalise them the way you would for money spent on, say, toothpaste, or something equally utilitarian.

I have just spent an obscene amount of my clothing budget on boring corporate suits, when what I really want is a pair of emerald green snake-skin stilettos! Sigh. I will just have to cheer myself up by imagining shopping with Cufflinks...
