about four years ago, cufflinks, SweetDixie, our friend libby (non-sg member), and i started "camera club." basically, we got together and dressed up in cool costumes and took scandalous photosets. we started out fully clothed and slowly undressed for the camera. we only did this twice but it was so much fun. we all took turns being the photographer, and we set up the timer for whole group shots. basically, we did sg years before we realized that sg existed. here is a picture from our second "set" i was about 15 in this image and cufflinks was about 17.



actually, i started taking pictures of hott alternative girls in photoset formats a year before we even did camera club (i was 14 when i first got my SLR and the first day i got it i shot a set of my friend jenna in her corset and stalkings.) evidence here:



this next image is from an early photoshoot that i had with my then girlfriend and some other girls from our theater group, we affectionately referred to it as "slutfest":



portrait photography is the one art form that has really stuck with me. i just think it's fun to look back at where i started. it makes me really excited to think about where i'm going.

also, i think cufflinks and SweetDixie will get a kick out of that first picture. i don't think anyone has looked at those for years. i'm glad i cleaned my room tonight and stumbled across them.
