Sometimes, I want to stab everyone I come into contact with all day, for various and sundry reasons.

On days like this, my kickboxing class is even more important to my sanity.

My sister is here for the weekend. This means food, drinks, bitching about boys, and business planning. And maybe some posing for her camera.

Don't you all hope. wink

I love punching things. And...

This is an Update.

I am tired and my back hurts. So I'm gonna go kickboxing.

I turned in my last reviews for Kaffeine Buzz (at least last for a while) today. I need time to focus on other stuff.

I'll tell you about "other stuff" when I'm damn good and ready. Because I don't know who's reading this that doesn't need to know serious...

I love first kisses.

I've written about this in here before, as well as other places. But really, I love first kisses.

Probably have this on my mind because it's about time for another one.

My last first kiss was pretty fucking great, actually. Maybe because it should've happened so many years ago, when we were kids and wouldn't have known what we were doing....

hello, darlings.

still no takers on the "fuck-me-then-leave" proposition? who'd have thought that I'd have a bunch of boys asking for cuddle time? guess we're just blowing gender roles out of the water here on SG.

I wore a skirt and heels last night so I could admire my legs. then I ate dessert. little pleasures, kids.

then I finally went to see Good Night...

I need to relax.

I need a bubble bath and a back massage and some long, slow sex and a really good night's sleep. I probably should sleep alone, too, so whomever's putting out and rubbing my back is going to have to leave.

I'm just trying to get this week's stuff done. Then my only consideration is going to be my business. writing a...

I guess I'd be okay with just giving you the back rub then leaving, but no spooning after nice, slow sex? That's just cruel. biggrin

I've been tagged.

1. I am currently procrastinating, watching hockey and doing this.

2. I am a hopeless romantic. I had an off-and-on relationship with my first love for several years, and remained convinced until recently that he was the only one for me. Recently, I have started to rethink how I feel about love.

3. I did not lose my virginity until I was...

Doc Holiday! Brilliant! Heh.

I just went out to a gym today where I will hopefully be able to mix between weight training and martials arts on my own while I get back into shape. If I get into MassART, I will start going there and if I can manage it time-wise, I really want to train in Muay Thai still.

Great comment on New Orleans, thanks..

One night in New York City my girl friend
and I were haul assing down Third toward
her place, and right about 8th Street,
in the often closed old theatre which has been there forever we saw A NEW ORLEANS MUSICAL,
featuring Alan Toussaint, and his Band.
I told the cab to stop, the girl friend to trust me,
and when and got boogied down to the seat of our pants.
Afterwards we even waited outside the dressing rooms,
and got everybody's autograph. Of course there will
be always a New Orleans because it's all zombie stomp stuff anyway. You can't kill, you say well, the already dead. I've heard all of these great stories about Booker,
particularly about his love affair with Little Richard, how
they would ride around in an open convertible screaming
"faggots in love," "faggots in love." I think the saddest thing I have ever seem was Dr. John's eyes on that great
television tribute not that many years ago. A lot of great
Suicide Girls, otherwise known as bright, intelligent, good
looking youngish women in the general radius of Philadelphia. I'm starting to chant go Aoife go, when it
comes to getting you off that island, away from a one or
two boy choice, and into a big bang community like Philly.
I also liked the place as the papers there, and the radio,
really gave me great support for some of Irish American
oriented publications. I have four different publishing fields, each of which is dominated by more nutcakes than
the other. I am a published journalist on the subject of
the death of jfk; an academy of the american arts award
winning poet; a pioneering scholar in the new field of Irish
American studies; and an Art Spiegelman trained comic
strip author, and editor and scholar. At any given time I
could be earning no money from all four, throwing in the
courses I teach in each at local colleges. Just lucky, I
guess. Swim for shore. Robert O.

I am a tired, tired girl. My kickboxing instructor decided she wanted to seriously abuse us last night, (double up those kicks!) and I am sore, and then on top of that, we were seriously busy at work. Lots of Canadians, which makes me smile--is everyone in Canada always so friggin' nice? Maybe it's the health care system, and not having to worry so much...

I've always wanted to learn to kick box. Is it fun?

And thanks! kiss

Cherry xxxxx.
dragod:
Absolutely. I just want more, more, MORE.

I just did my biweekly prowl down through the amazing
bookstores of this town. The spirit is up because of what
the Democrats did. I'm down because one single chain now owns almost the whole of the alternative weekly communities. And they are the ones who came in to drive out the hippies with a m ore moderate, commerce friendly ambition. As a friend in Paris comments, its our fundamentalism's versus Muslim fundamentalism now, and everyone is going to go down inbetween. This is War.

God do I wish that weren't true. Of course you have to find somebody to go live and love with, a number of people if you can. And then together try to humanize the world as much as possible with the power of love and art.
This big agenda will define the rest of my lifetime, and probably most of yours. DragoD

I am updating this for no good reason. I have nothing to say that I feel like sharing with whomever may be reading this.

Plenty of things are going on, both good and bad, and I'm not a terribly happy girl right now, but sometimes I have to ask myself why I feel the need to spill it all on the internet, anyway.

I think...

Thanks for the heads up! I'll probably submit a Pellet for that one. I already did my feature review, which is like WAY ahead of schedule for me. I told Troy earlier that I would do any extras if it was necessary.

Hope all is well. I'm really glad you were able to join us in Best Shots. It's been great.

Did YOUR Halloween involve David Allan Coe? (or at least, a very convincing facsimile thereof?)

Yeah. thought not. That was way rad. I mean, it's easy to say "we're going to cover the Misfits for Halloween." But who the fuck does David Allan Coe? Buncha crazy bastards, that's who. I loved it.

only underscored my need to move, though. One tiny club in Savannah is...

For a few days after getting home I was freaked by the workload I had waiting for me. Two weeks off from the shop and nothing is organized. Piles of CDs and movies to review (I know, I'm whining), and Mr. ohJAYfloe asking me if I'm going to write any more comic reviews. It nearly gave me a panic attack, and I don't get panic...
