1. I have a big blister on my foot from kickboxing. Oh, and I can barely walk. but it hurts so good.

2. My girlfriend in Houston is on the way out. This is a good thing. I can't stand the idea of more people I love being displaced by hurricanes. Fuck you very much, Rita. But on a cynical note: if Katrina had hit Texas, watch how quickly Bushie woulda responded.

3. new BUST rules. Susan Sarandon is so rad. I can't wait to be a kickass middle-aged lady. I am tired of being concerned with silly boys.

4. the New York Times has decided that to read Op-Ed columns online, you must join their pay service. This kinda blows. I don't want to have to shell out the $$ to get my Krugman, Herbert and Dowd fixes. But I did anyway.

5. I have this really strange compulsion to move back to New Orleans once they've cleaned the scum off. Feel like I need to contribute to the rebuilding or something. I had no desire to move back there before this...

6. I was trying to put together my dream supergroup. You know, pick a singer, guitarist, bassist, drummer from different bands...but what I realize is that X is the perfect band.

7. Wow. this list wasn't nearly as cool as Monday's. I had a boring day off.
