Fuck, I don't want to work in the morning. I just want to run away from home with Iggy Pop on the stereo and everything I need in the backseat of the car. I think that's really what I'm working so hard for right now--to be able to ditch all my crap, say "fuckit" and GO. Do something great, or crazy, wild, whatever. Just do something. Tired of treading water.

Don't get me wrong. Things have been better lately, for sure, and there's a light at the end of the tunnel, but living here I feel respectability and other people's expectations crammed down my throat and I'm sick of living with my parents' fear that I will somehow fuck up and not be able to afford the house in the suburbs, fancy car, and two kids that they think I must want because it's what they wanted.

It's not what I want, and I will not be happy with mediocrity.
