thanks for all the recommendations. Movies have been added to my netflix queue, songs may be downloaded until I can afford to buy tons of albums, books will be hunted for at my shit-ass public library, and websites checked out.

Philly, Baltimore, and NYC were good to me, mostly. My plans got completely jostled by shitty weather and SOMEONE cancelling on me, but that just meant more time to hang with the lovely and amazing Twwly and her zoo. Met ymonster and James, hung out with my darling friend Kacie and my sister's adorable roommate Chris, saw Bad Education and lusted after Gael Garcia Bernal, ate sushi, bought the best hot pink lipstick ever (Estee Lauder Vinyl Cherry, in case anyone's wondering), saw the Diane Arbus exhibit, drank lots of Dunkin' Donuts coffee, and generally enjoyed all the things that do not exist where I live.

However, the weather has been amazingly gorgeous since I got back, so there are perks to living below the Mason-Dixon line. That, and the boys at the shop making me smile when I'm not threatening their lives with a pedal wrench.

I bought an apron with Chococat on it to wear at the bike shop to attempt to keep grease off my pants. I love combining my super-girly side with bike mechanicery. I am trying to convince my dear friend Harley to move to Austin (or maybe Vancouver--I can never make up my mind) with me and run a bike shop of our own.

Of course, I'll change my mind next week. Austin is tempting me lately, though. If only it weren't in Texas...
