My work is conspiring to keep me from eating properly. Today one of my managers brought in Krispy Kremes. I cannot say no to donuts. She best not do it again, or I will have to be rolled out the door.

So it's Ash Wednesday. Went to Ladies Night last night and had to explain to three different guys why I hate the whole beads-for-tits thing. (Someday soon they'll put the content on the webpage and you can read my rant on the subject at www.winkmagazine.com). We had a good time, regardless.

I am going to apply for bartending jobs tomorrow. I am sick of waitressing. Found an internship I want for the summer, too. Wish me luck, I could certainly use some.

The stinking hockey game is not on TV, of course, on an evening I could actually be watching it. So instead I'm listening to it on the radio. I am such a good little fangirl.

Edited because I can't let Alex Tanguay do something cool without it getting mentioned in my journal. With a goal and an assist tonight, he set a new franchise record for points in consecutive games. 15 game point streak, and it hopefully isn't over yet.
In other Avs news, they beat the Panthers 3-1, and poor Peter Forsberg got hit with a puck somewhere that the radio announcers refused to mention. Poor Petey. Hope he's ok.
