Ye gods, it's time for an update.
Still in Philly. Having a much better time than last time, when I was sick as a dog and in a deep state of post-election depression. This time involves XXXmas shopping, more fabulous movies, a promising job interview (with a costume company! fun! costumes! travel! casual clothing!), the Pixies (yeah, that's right), Emma Forrest, and more cute boys.
Oh, and just in case you haven't heard the rumors, yeah, I hung out with Cash and Stiles, drank some cider, ate some greek food, drank some coffee (lattes..
) talked some politics, music, sports, cars, and other things that I love. Those guys rock. Hopefully soon there will be many more nights like that. 
Don't forget: it may already be Wednesday as you read this, in which case you should wish Twwly a very happy birthday, and be jealous because I am hanging out with her and you are not.

Glad you're enjoying your time in Philly.
but i regret not seeing the pixies locally back then, it wasn't until i left boston for san francisco in late '89 that i fell in love with them ... even though i loved "Gigantic" and had heard the raves for the Pixies, i hadn't known that was their song until after I got into them. but i did see them twice in their first incarnation, and again this sept., it was wonderful.
