I'm OK, thanks for the love.
If you have a Democrat for a Senator, you should express to them that they should oppose Gonzalez for AG. It won't help, but at least we can make sure people know that the guy is an asshole. Hell, if you have a sane Republican senator (I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but there are a few out there still) you could try it. Unfortunately, I'm in SC and we just elected a nazi to the Senate.
But my interview with Lucero is up at kaffeinebuzz and you can win free tickets to see them if you're in Denver or Boulder. If not, you should just read it anyway, because Ben is wonderful and Lucero are the perfect band to drink away your sorrows to.
Somebody hire me, please. I can write really well, I promise.
And while you're at it: I need some help with my project. I need all the best links you have to lefty/progressive/democratic/anarchist/socialist/feminist/pretty much anything but Republican websites. I want everything from PACs to blogs to shopping destinations to bands and actors and movie studios. Anything you can think of. I know I'll get doubles, but I would love you all if you could email them to aoifesuicide@yahoo.com. I'll put a big thank you on the site with all your names on it. Thanks.
Shameless self-promotion aside, I'm supposed to talk to srini from unamerican.com about working together, so buy shit from them.
****One more place to spend your money that is way better for the world than Wal-Mart or McDonald's. Donate to Ohio Recount fund!!! Yes, that's right, the good people in the Green and Libertarian parties, who actually care that your votes get counted even though they know that there's no way in hell they won, are raising money to actually COUNT every vote in Ohio and find out how many people were disenfranchised this election. We don't expect to change any results, but we can make damn sure that it makes more news and that we piss off the anchors on Fox News who condemned people for daring to ask if their rights were infringed upon. Note that if you're pissed off at Nader, he did not run with the Green Party this year, so you're not giving him your money. Do the right thing.
