well, maybe not that dramatic. but still. I've got to do something to get myself out of this funk.

listening to NPR is great fun, by the way. the excerpts they played from my local lieutenant governor's race (is there ever a more useless political position?) are friggin' hilarious.

they're arguing over cockfighting. I bet your state doesn't have conversations about cockfighting in polite company.
