Forget it. Over it.

Had a huge dinner--salad, wine, duck, chocolate dessert. Yum. Did some online X-mas shopping and I think I'll finish it tomorrow, plus wrap some things, and try to generally get into the spirit. Haven't been in a bad mood, really, just not interested in holidays. So many other big things on my mind...

Watching Frida. Before that, a Margaret Cho DVD. I needed to laugh and cry and be reminded that women are amazing. Because we are. All of us. Some of us just need the reminder more often than others.

A girl that I haven't really been friends with in years friended me on myspace. I like little gestures of goodwill. She gave me my favorite piece of jewelry, a necklace from Israel that really seems to do its job of warding off the evil eye. Every time I don't wear it, fucked-up stuff seems to happen.

I wanted to do some writing tonight, but it didn't happen. I thought about seeing a movie, but didn't do that either.

Does Brokeback Mountain come out tomorrow? Probably not in this reddest of red states. Too bad. I could use some gay cowboys.
