after many many weeks of cutting back on meat and eating healthy and getting regular exercise, today i meated out. a rack of ribs for lunch, and bbq pork for dinner. i feel waaay too full.

and when i got home, i found a shirt on my doorknob. a shirt advertising something i recently bought. a shirt not my size. a shirt that none of...

You seem to be having theme-week. Manly day followed by Meat day... now easing into gory movie day?

people are finally getting over that fact that it is, indeed, winter. people are becoming happy and doing things again.

this makes me content until spring, but i still wonder how people let the weather have such control over their brains.
alyssum:
Cold depressing weather always makes me more social. Nothing more of a bummer than sitting home alone when it's chilly out, when you could be surrounded by hot bodies.

damn, it feels good to be a gangsta.

alright, enough dillydallying, i'll see you kids at the party.

Um, what party?
alyssum:
You know how people read words in little groups, right, in a radius of about a centimeter and a half... and those groups move along as we take in more of the sentence... sort of "circular reading"... well, see, it looked at first as if that last bit said "*beats off with cane*". wink

*moves off onto your lawn*

i have laundry piling up no matter how much i do, and i came home today to the house cleaned.

i wish i had free time. right now my time is evenly divided between making money and spending it, and that is not good for the psyche.
elphie:
I hope to god this isn't the 'real me'

Laundry is icky... thats all I have to say about that one.
alyssum:
I think that's a magical property of laundry, it never ends no matter how much you do or how long you spend doing it.

I still wanna try that Mephisto stuff... that's questionable, in a good way. I think this chocolate vodka is questionable in a "jesus why am I drinking this, but I can't stop!" sort of way.

I'm all out of absinthe part, alas... wink Okay, I don't know that I'm that upset about that. As fun as it was, that stuff tastes like ass.

I go through long stretches of not remembering dreams, and happily I seem to be back in that mode. If I actually sit around after waking up and think about what I just dreamt, I'll remember them, but most of them aren't exciting enough to bother.

so, after 13 days of working in a row, i go outside to catch a bus once again. only this time, it's been just warm enough to melt the top layer of sleet into an impenetrableblanket of ice. i attempt to use this to my advantage, sliding in small segments, but i end up sliding most of the way on my back. getting up on...

Oh no, not you too! Hrmph. As soon as I start feeling better, the sickness passes to another. Kinda like that evil spirit in Idle Hands.

I hope you feel better soon!

i know i'm not in missouri anymore when the weatherman has to announce that it's sleeting, then define what sleet is, much to the amazement ot the other people watching the tv.

this is the worst weather portland has seen in 7 years, from what i hear. i made the foolhardy mistake of driving home last night, as it was still just packed down snow....

'and the sign said long haired freaky people need not apply'

that's a lyric. and a sign that i'm spending too much time working and frying my brain so when i finally do get home i end up vegging out playing video games or watching movies, never leaving autopilot.

i still go out a lot, but it's switched from weekends to weeknights, and i still...

it's amazing how quickly an 8 hour workday goes when it follows an 18 hour one.

today i talked to a 79 year old man for a while, and he regaled me with anti-management and viagra jokes. it's amazing how much conversation you get stored away inside you when you live in a small town and don't leave the house much.

i might actually get...
