last night i was punched in the eye. while i was driving down the highway. also while i was doing a favor and giving said person a ride.

t minus twenty four hours and counting.

on the bright side, i was driving home from one of the most delicious meals i have eaten since being in portland. you kids can cook like no one else's business, not to mention have great conversation after.

it's often been said that the way to a man's heart is in his stomach. i think my heart is still deep inside my stomach, churning in hydrochloric acid. this explains my deep love of all food that is unfathomably tasty.

it's also been said that you can tell how someone acts in bed by the way they eat. if they savor the food, then you have a sensualist and it will last for hours. if you have someone that downs burgers without tasting them, you have a two pump chump who will be turning on the tv.

and on that note, i feel loved. nearly three pages of comments, most of which had actual content.

no i'm going to go sit at my desk for a work shift and be bored. maybe i should bring two books, one to read and one to write in.
