i used to be really into halloween. every october i would put a lot of effort into my costume, and pull people out to the haunted houses. it was a great holiday to celebrate the end of summer and let everyone's goth tendencies out (like every single girl doesn't dress as some type of angel anyway. ooo, a naughty angel.)
one year i decided that halloween was overrated and i was retiring. so i pulled out all the stops. i had a seamstress make me an edward scissorhands costume (i was svelt) that was extraordinarily accurate, with all of the straps and buckles and scars. i even had scissorhand gloves, and a backup pair i switched to when i started getting more drunk that had safe-t scissors painted chrome. i had longer hair and loaded it up with mega styling gel and even had the makeup.
that halloween night my house had the largest party in springfield, missouri. i swear the majority of the city was in the orange-fenced yard, drinking the barrels of jungle juice and firing tennis balls over the city with the army surplus slingshot on the roof.
the next morning i found three full constumes in my room. i have no idea how demoness, vampirella, and wolfman got home that night, but i'm sure they had fun.

that's what everyone keep saying. but shit, I felt totally coherent! it wasn't until I gave Siren a piggy back ride around the room, did I realize...oh shit, I'm totally not keeping my cool here.
