Just re-read _Ararat_ by DM Thomas for the paper I'm writing on the fall of grand narratives. It's such a fucking wicked book. My copy is totally falling apart, so I looked for a 1st edition hardback on ABE books and they had one that was signed for about 150! I browsed around a bit and managed to order a copy (signed 1st ed. hardback) for 15! Fucking bargain!
