The Penrith Panthers are going to win this year. Seriously, Rhys Wesser and Preston Campbell are fucking spectacular. I've got to get out west and check out some games; it's been far too long and when Penrith parties, it really goes nuts. Sometimes in a good way, sometimes in a bad.
Driving is still going well. I'm really quite confident now, and absolutely loving getting behind the wheel. Once I have my license I'll be a man perpetually possessed with the urge to get road trips going. At least until the novelty wears off.

I got my license at the ripe ol age of 25 - 'cause I had to for my job. It took me forever to learn too because I was such a scaredy cat. I think learning later actually helped me become safer and got me out of a few scrapes too. I've been in three car accidents - none my fault - hit from behind and one sandwich - the last one was two years ago - 18 year old red P plater in a 4WD (there should be a special driving test for those cars) - anyway, he totalled my car and could have almost killed me. Shoulda seen his face when I was put on a stretcher....I hope he has learnt to be more careful. Thankfully I'm ok now , but living with a weak back forever...
