I prop Phil Collins too much. A mate recently pointed out that part of the reason I like him so much is because no one else does. Which, indeed, is probably true.

But seriously, Roof Is Leaking is a fucking beautiful song. Sussudio is pop brilliance, if not lyrical. In The Air Tonight has the best bit of any song ever (yeah, when the drums come in). Another Day In Paradise takes me back to when it came out and I was five, and I love it for its amazing reminiscing power.

Go and listen to Phil. C'mon, do it. Forget the gross marketing. Forget the terrible hair, or lack thereof. Forget the fact he actually wrote a song asking people - many times - to just say the word, Sussudio. Love the Phil.
