My weekend was so intensely geeky. I bought a lot of CDs (Springsteen, Dylan, They Might Be Giants, Joy Division, Eno) and watched a lot of DVDs (Shattered Glass, Cold Mountain, Love Actually, The Night We Called It A Day, American Splendor, the remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and 28 Days Later).
Also saw Shrek 2 with my dad which wasn't that good until the end which was an outrageous laugh riot. The take-off of Cops was one of the funniest scenes ever, in the history of scenes.
This week I'm seeing Electric Six, having a meeting with one of my editors, reviewing six bars or so, writing a brief history of beer-brewing in Australia, going back to uni, and hopefully hitting my favourite place in Sydney, the Tilbury Hotel. It theoretically seems like a busyish week, but I doubt it will end up busy at all.
