Melbourne was incredible. Had some great times in beautiful alleyway bars and stairway pubs and rooftop drinking venues. Went to a super-classy (which is to say, not super-creepy) strip club and we laughed as our mate Roz spent half his pay. Saw The National, who I didn't like much but the guys loved.
Lost my drivers licence in ridiculous circumstances. The police were doing breath checks on Australia Day -- I passed, of course, but I had forgotten to put my plates on, so I scored a 200 dollar fine and double demerits. So retarded. Obviously I'll have to go to court to argue that I shouldn't lose my licence over something so small.
Still working at a very silly company doing very silly work. Not sure if I'll go back to university next year... if I don't, I'll have to do something interesting. Working for the Labor Party is the goal. Or a rad magazine.
